Heather is a FT Farrier in Northern Illinois and is a Certified Journeyman Farrier (CJF) with a Therapeutic Endorsement (TE) from the American Farrier's Association (AFA) and she is an Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers (AWCF). Worshipful Company of Farriers was founded in 1356 in the UK, and Heather is only 1 of 27 in the United States that holds the AWCF letters after her name. Beyond her full time schedule with horses, Heather is an accomplised writer. Heather has received the Journalism Award with the AFA in 2022 & 2023, the General Interst Article Award 2022 & 2023, and now has a published book in 2022 called "The Hoof Book: A Horse Owner's Guide…
